22 Nov 2008 - Murder

What an absolutely incredible night. We braved the snow flurries and headed to Sheringham train station. The fires were blazing the Christmas tree decorated and everyone turned up in 1920's dress. It all looked spectacular. We boarded the train and had a superb meal (my choice was trout, salmon, apple crumble, cheese and biscuits washed down with pints of delicious red wine!!!!). Off we steamed to Holt - there were some rather strang characters on board and horrors of horrors, someone got shot on Holt Station. Then believe it or not, on the way to Weybourne someone got strangled - who did it? By this time I was hyper and laughing so much I couldn't get my head round who had dun what or particularly cared but as the police were to meet us back at Sheringham, I guess I had to try and figure it out. The rest of our table asked some rather intelligent questions (just wish I had). I didn't particuarly like the Vicar, I thought he was a bit of a creep. We eventually returned to Sheringham only to be herded into the Station again and asked who we thought was the murderer - I 'aint giving the game away......(we didn't get him/her). It was a fantastic Play Day and I can't recommend it highly enough. For those of you that didn't make it, all I can say is, mark your calendar and get ready for next year..........you won't be disappointed..............
